MURDER MYSTERY EVENTS IN ASSOCIATION WITH TANGLED WEB
Tangled Web Murder Mysteries offers you the chance to step out of the realities of daily life and into the shoes of someone entirely new . . . someone created especially for you.
If you are looking for an unexpected and very different evening's entertainment, Tangled Web Murder Mysteries is ideal. This is not your average Murder Mystery - with actors playing the parts whilst the guests solve the mystery. Instead, we write a personalised plot, with characters tailored according to the interests of your group. You play the characters and you solve the mystery.
With the emphasis on intrigue, enjoyment and mystery - our guests tell us that they have just as much fun being someone else for the evening as they do solving the murder at the end of the night.
The evenings are not scripted and no acting experience is required. Furthermore, a perfect gender balance or common age range doesn't matter. We have catered for guests ranging from their early 20s to their mid-70s - both mixed and single gender groups. The beauty of our bespoke service is that we can create a plot around whatever combination of guests you have.
Tangled Web Murder Mysteries combines the performance, directional, written, creative and organisation talents of business owners Rachel Alexander-Hill and Helen Wilson, both of whom have a wealth of stage experience. Helen has acted and directed with York Settlement Players for more than 20 years. Rachel spent years dancing on and off stage and was an active member of a Boston (U.S.) Writer's Group for over a decade. She also choreographs for York Settlement Players. Helen and Rachel met on 'the school run' in 2003 - and have been laughing and plotting ever since.
