GIRL'S NIGHT IN

HOMEGROWN AND LOCAL

We launch our new food philosphophy

At Hotel du Vin & Bistro, they think the local butcher, farmer or cheese-maker does an amazing job - highly passionate and tireless in their quest to provide the very finest produce to their region and they eagerly salute such homegrown talent.

As a large company providing dining (with 14 Bistros across the UK) it would be all too easy to forget the two man operation or the centuries old family run business while chefs idly sit back and wait for the articulated lorries to deliver pre-frozen ingredients straight to their supermarket floor.

Thankfully it's just not how they operate at Hotel du Vin & Bistro and the new 'Homegrown & Local' menu is testament to their support of these legendary suppliers, without whom they would not be able to produce the great dishes they've become known for in Bistros across the country.

We fervently believe the new menus to be the best that Hotel du Vin has ever produced, due in no small part to their homegrown heroes.  So we urge you to try it for yourselves and help celebrate all that's great about our nation, our region and our people.  Hotel du Vin is honoured to be host to such talent which is good for you and great for the region.

BUSINESS TRAVELLER AWARDS

Hotel du Vin wins top business award and sister group, Malmaison comes a close second

At yesterday's prestigious and industry-packed 'Business Traveller Awards', Hotel du Vin was named 'Best Smaller Hotel Worldwide' for 2010. It stole the crown from sister brand, Malmaison, which won the title in 2009 and this year came a close second.  And the success continued with both hotel groups reaching the top four 'Best Business Hotel Chain in the UK'.
Guests of honour, Kate Adie OBE, and award-winning comedian, Jenny Eclair, presented CEO Robert Cook with the coveted award, whilst proclaiming Hotel du Vin their favourite hotel brand!  They echo Business Traveller's 50,000 readers who were responsible for voting the winners in. With results authenticated by an independent auditing company - they are widely recognised as the market's benchmark for excellence.  Business Traveller is the foremost magazine for the global frequent business traveller with 10 editions worldwide and its readers' verdicts are highly valued.
