Welcome to our “contemporary wonderland” as Alastair Sawday dubbed us, in the heart of this sublime city. Take a step inside this iconic building, formerly the west wing of England Eye Hospital, where historic walled gardens and striking architecture create the backdrop for a truly special experience.

Please note that extra beds can only be supplied for children aged 3-14 years old, and are only available in deluxe rooms or suites, £30 is charged per extra bed, per night. Cots are available for babies. For any special requests, please contact Bookings Central on 0330 016 0380.

Single Room

Ideal for one, these small rooms offer all the luxuries you'd expect from Hotel du Vin in a compact but perfectly formed space. Featuring a small double bed, en-suite shower and desk/dressing table, and decorated with original artwork.

Cosy Room

Just big enough for two, these Cosy rooms offer all the luxuries you'd expect from Hotel du Vin in a compact but perfectly formed space. Featuring a king bed, ensuite shower (some with shower over bath) and desk/dressing table, and decorated with original artwork.

Classic Room

Our Classic rooms are individually designed and feature a king-sized bed, a writing desk and seating, with an en-suite shower or shower-over bath. Ideal for business or pleasure.

Deluxe Room

Offering more living space than the Classic Rooms, our Deluxe rooms are unique in design, some with inside closed bathrooms and some open plan. Features include a king or super king-sized bed and either a shower-over bath or separate bath and en-suite shower.

Junior Suite

These spacious, open-plan rooms are individually designed and full of character, offering super king-sized beds, bespoke furniture and rejuvenating monsoon shower, some with a bath as well.

Beekeeper’s Cottage is located within the grounds of the hotel, overlooking our kitchen garden. With sumptuous orange and exquisite green furnishings, adorned with glorious bees and original artwork on the walls, this one-of-kind suite is an idyllic sanctuary. Relax in your super king size bed, complete with Egyptian cotton bed linen. The stylish bathroom has a luxurious walk-in shower, complete with L'Occitane amenities. Enjoy a Nespresso in the morning or a glass of Champagne in the evening, from the comfort of your private patio overlooking the gardens. This unique suite is the perfect base for a memorable stay whilst exploring historic Exeter and the wealth of attractions beyond.
