Housed within a former orphanage in the tranquil area known as The Mount are 44 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites. The beautiful Grade II-listed building has been perfectly transformed, retaining many of its unique features. All our rooms in York feature luxurious handsprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs and air conditioning.

Thierry Lombard and De Trafford, our two junior suites, are situated in the loft spaces in our tranquil Shambles building. Both suites have a beautiful super king size bed, a seating area and a roll-top free standing bath in the bedroom.
