Housed within a previously disused Eye Hospital are 66 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites, all featuring luxurious handsprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs and air conditioning. As we have sensitively converted this iconic building, in order to maintain its unique features, no two guest rooms are the same. We have various styles of rooms from standard, deluxe, studios and suites. All our rooms in Birmingham have the same Hotel du Vin luxuries but come in various shapes and sizes, and some even with the signature du Vin roll top bath.
Hotel du Vin is created out of buildings with character and history, therefore please note the images are reflective of the room type but the decoration and exact configuration may change as all guest rooms are individual and unique.

Classic Room
Our classic room is our benchmark of quality, comfort and style. Complete with a Twin, Double, King or Super King bed with delicate linens, an en-suite bathroom with a monsoon shower over deep bath.
Deluxe Room
Enjoy more. Our deluxe rooms are bigger than our classics, with more space to showcase our superb Single, Twin, King or Super King size beds. The en-suite features a roll-top bath and walk-in monsoon shower. Bespoke artisan tea & Nespresso coffee come as standard.
Junior Suite
Our two large open-plan junior suites boast the finest features we have to offer, all with enough room to swing a cabernet. Look forward to a super king or Emperor bed (now a sleigh bed), lounging area and an en-suite with roll-top bath and walk-in monsoon shower.
Suite
Bigger and better than our junior suites, they feature separate sofa areas, super king or emperor beds, walk-in monsoon showers, free standing roll-top bath and of course, all of our classic touches such as L’Occitane toiletries and bespoke artisan tea & Nespresso coffee.
Signature Suite
The very best room in the house. Our stunning signature suite, Penfolds Grange, features a huge open plan area with an Emperor bed, relaxing lounge space, twin roll top baths, twin showers, walk in wardrobe area and a second twin bedroom .
